Lets see some new purchases.

.
It just arrived in todays mail and I love both of them.
NY (C1852) NEW YORK R-NY-NY-19 P.T. BARNUM
This is one of the more common and perhaps earliest issued for Tom Thumb. Obverse shows
him standing beside two books. Above "General Tom Thumb" Below"15lbs. weight"
Reverse is a very good imitation of the quarter dollar from 1807-1837, except this has no date.
While in England it is known that he had the same obverse but with Queen Victoria on the reverse.
Both struck in brass.

I must say that this looks better than AU58. Love the small amount of red peeking through on the reverse.

Under $10 each

Cool looking token. Not my normal item but the photo lesson on pcgs recently got me interested
And this is a MS 1944 D/D for under $10 cherry picked off eBay.

Dayumm, I just knew it was going to be an 1870 dated coin.
Seriously, nice detail and look for a 58.

Realized this week that I needed more copper in my collection so I added these to my type set.... Nothing too exciting but here they are

Successful trades.... MichaelDixon,
Last couple week's Ebay cherry picks. It was a GOOD couple weeks!
1) 1876 Trade $1 Type 2/2 (was in an 1876 Type set T$1, 1/2, 1/4, dime)
2) 1873-CC Trade $1 (listed as P mint)
3) 1918/7-S SLQ (listed as a regular "S", second one in past 3 months)

It's raw but just look at that strike and luster. For a type 2 I do believe it's a great score. At least I like it
I went to a show with my family in February and bought this. Outside of some bullion, it's the only thing I've picked up for my collection since January of 2016.
A bit unusual for me, I went to Baltimore and ended up buying three coins for my 7070. That is maybe how many I average in a year for it.
Please excuse the orientation differences in my shots...and I can't figure out how to photograph darker copper just yet. Both of the coppers are a nicer, more chocolatey brown color than my pictures would suggest.
raw from Civitas Galleries
raw from Charmy, but I didn't introduce myself properly.
and, probably heresy, I cracked this one out of a PCGS slab to finish the gold page out. I'm blanking on the dealer's name but he's in one of The Penny Lady's photos as one of her friends.

Quite a good trip for me for US stuff.
My newest purchase in 3 years is hopefully going to be here today...!
here is my new purchase a 1953s PCGS graded MS67 toned dime

Looks prooflike.
Crazy eye appeal. Frosty with flashy mirrors and lots of die polish lines. Surprised it didn't get a star. 1 of 2 in PL.

Very flashy mirrors.

For a good customer

The 1811 CBH is from David at Sunshine Rare Coin, and it just arrived Monday.
