Have I cherrypicked myself on this CPG-listed Buffalo nickel, or ......?

Heading for the Willimantic CT show Sunday, so as my usual practice, pulled out my Buffalo set to check for potential upgrade candidates. I bought this 1925-S about 10 years ago in an old white ANACS VF-35 holder. At the time the reverse spots didn't bother me too much, so I kept it. But when I looked at it last night, it finally dawned on me that it might be an RPM. So is it the CPG-listed FS-501 (RPM-1), and if it is, how embarrassed should I, a longtime Buffalo cherrypicker, be for not noticing it a lot earlier?

I looks like an rpm to me, but hard to believe it is in a slab as a non problem coin
a.k.a "The BUFFINATOR"
.
no rpm imo.
die chip top. mint damage/lamination bottom and/or ejection doubling bottom east.
i kinda like the coin. looks like a snap-tite? i was fooled recently thinging this look was a slab
my 2c
.
I would say maybe - I checked the CPG and also varietyvista and it looks like probably. But there are some nicks on your mintmark making it more questionable, and I suspect PCGS would lean on the side of their safety.

I vote NO.
Here's one I picked a few years back:
I do not know but I will await the experts opinions here
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb, Ricko
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
Have to agree now that it looks like the graders let one get by. One of the reasons it's on the list for an upgrade, but not an easy one to locate in the XF-AU range . Sure, looks like the RPM to me, but issues other posters have cited would probably prevent a straight grade.
It is the RPM. It almost touches the C in CENT just like the one on Variety Vista.

It does look like it..... I did, at first, think die chip... however, on close examination and comparison... I think it is the RPM .... Cheers, RickO
