Few marks but luster is intense and strike is excellent. 2 sets of photos but of the same coin.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Used to be a cantankerous ole buck around here. ;)
Went by the name of ColJessup.
Anyway, he used to talk about a coins' "fabric".
Your coin reminded me of that for some reason.

All that to say that I love the complete overall look. Obv & rev.
    Congrats!

    Congrats!

I remember him well! I think he got a bit frustrated dealing with multiple forum changes. He mentored me a bit when I started collecting again a few years ago and I really valued his input. (as do I many others)

@ricko it was in a canadian ICCS slab and I feel I got it for a good price for what it is, but I generally try to spend on the "cheap" to "dirt cheap" side of things. If it grades 65 it was indeed "cheap".

Thank you all. This one will go in at the same time as this "dirt cheap" 17-S.

That's not a new coin! In fact, it's over 100 years old. ;)

Nice early date. As for grade, I have no idea. There are obviously some subtleties about grading this series that I haven't acquired yet.

Like always I'm totally impressed with this walker your showing. It's certainly does have beautiful skin. Gorgeous coin my coin brother.
    You da man!!!

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
