" Good Morning Mr. Phelps..." I have decided to go on a new mission in this "Hobby of Kings". Some of you probably are aware of my recent thoughts on this? I already had cashed in on the majority of my collection. I have decided only to be that "Cherry Picker Guy"! meaning, I will no longer keep or collect any coin/coins. All that I will be doing is Cherry Picking, then flipping them for profit. Please don't get me wrong, I still and always will still love the beauty of "The Coin" aspect. It's just I don't feel that I should hold on to any coins for such a long time. What's fine for one, might not be fine for another. I realize that there will come a time during my picking that I will come across an outstanding and fantastic coin, feasted upon my eyes and say, "buy me!!!". I will just have to resist. LOL
One More Thing... Is there anyone else going or has gone already in this direction of the Hobby? Oh well, off I go after my Mission that I hope won't be Impossible? (meaning, satisfying as when I collected) ;)

I think that by not "collecting" you will severely affect your ability to Cherrypick.

Looks like you're a dealer now.

You know what? That's exactly what I was thinking but without the traditional B&M. also, I won't be doing this for a financial living as most Dealers tend to do. I look at it as a New Hobby in coin collecting. That's another thing, am I still considered as a collector? HMMMM?

I made the same decision years ago. It hasn't made me rich, but I've made some decent money. I started collecting wristwatches to appease my collecting bug. I like them because I can actually use them as opposed to making visitations to my coins occasionally at the bank SDB vault. Every once in a while I find a coin I keep (like my VAM discoveries), but most of my picks get flipped.

    This.

You will actually handle way cooler coins and a lot more of them than you can as a collector.

It actually makes bidding fun, that is if you win, you get a good price and no big if you lose to a higher bid as the higher bid would start to squeeze margins.
