While searching through my Wheaties, I came across this one. What do you guys say? Maybe, a 1951 D/S? Maybe? Do ya see the top " S" inside the D? Even a little tail-like south of the D? or is it just my imagination? Maybe? Thanks guys. -joey

I am not seeing it, but I have never found a RPM in my hunting over the years so I am certainly not one to say for sure.
It does not match up with the D/S photos on the Coneca website. Could be that it is a very late die state for FS-512, which normally shows a stronger bottom loop of the underlying S below the bottom of the D. If it is... there should be a diagnostic horizontal die crack above VDB. However, position of the D mintmark does not seem to be in the position shown on Coneca photos. Could be a new variety... but probably too weak to be able to call it one.
