Serial numbers missing?

So I got this on wish.com and well even if it is fake ah it was only $3 and worth the shot. This is the first bit I purchased aside from the gold and silver coins I already have collected over the years. Isn't there supposed to be a serrial number?

OR PURE should be AU PURE, right?
If you got 1 oz of pure gold for $3, and they actually shipped it.....
Ah....No, I don't think it's real.
Yeah real ones have serial numbers, there is a reason this one doesn't.
Real ones are not in the hard plastic holders.
You should also post this on the precious metals board
.

Yes, it should have a serial number.
No, it is not real gold. Here's what a real one looks like. The corners of the ingot and the holder are different.
Lance.
and the font is wrong
fake fake fake
Frigg'n French don't know how to spel.
bob
note the wider radius of the bar's corners in the authentic picture. This is a common diagnostic with many gold and silver bars.

Why is it worth the shot if you clearly know it fake?

Might it be like this? From wish.com. Note the description - "material - gold plated iron".

I picked up a couple of silver bars that look virtually perfect. I believe that if they were placed in a large group of silver bars and someone was spot checking and not testing every bar, that they would slip by. They are the right size and weight and look perfect. I showed them to a couple of silver dealers who were at a coin show and they agreed. Perfect. Except they are attracted to a magnet.
You could glue a strong magnet to the back of it and put it on the fridge. At that point it would at least be a cool "gold bar" fridge magnet with some utility instead of a useless paperweight.

My thought also. But... guess it has some 'value' as a testing/observation/study piece. I like the idea of the fridge magnet!
