  That's a very nice example of a
  double clashed die.......they're
  known like this on various dates
  of Roosevelt Dimes.

  I really don't understand why many of these "super die clashes" aren't more popular. Some are very impressive. I specialize in die clashes on the Buffalo 5c coins-especially the so called "Lone Ranger" or "Masked Indian" varieties. Bill Fivaz wrote a nice article on these several years ago.

  Really strong die clashes intrigue me...not sure why... but they are interesting ..

  Totally agree RickO.
  I just love to find those unusual coins that are out there.

  Remember a few years ago I posted about a full 7 step Jefferson. Yup 7 steps,
  Well the seventh was from strike doubling but there are 7 for sure
