Coin Talk Radio show

Hello all, I was thinking about the state of the hobby and occurred to me that a Coin talk radio show with a extremely well versed host would spur the general public. The public would call in asking questions about rarity, mintage, value, history, etc. Not a coin sales show. More of a history show. Has this been done? Maybe the TPG's or our host could be "On the Radio" Just a thought.

IMO, Numismatics is a VISUAL hobby, audio only goes so far as narration goes. I may be missing something.

Just checked it, they are up and running...
It funny to hear one argument about how to bring in YN to the hobby and have another talking about coin radio. I wonder how may YN have listened to AM radio or even know what AM and FM actually mean.....
Although radio still commands large audiences, without the visuals, I think interest would wither rather quickly. JMO... Cheers, RickO
Coinshowradio has been up and running for a while. Couple of members of the Cointalk forum started it. One was a dealer that has an account here. I haven't listened in a couple years but if I remember correctly it is more of a podcast than a radio show.
They have a player link on CT if anyone wanted to hear it.

The podcast I subscribe to is called "The Coin Show" if you want to try it. I have listened on occasion and it can be interesting.
