I'll be there at 10 AM.
It is the Tennessee State show. Guessing 100+ tables.
I hope one of you will post a report! Things are pretty dead where I live.
I agree with kaz.... post a report... a 100 table show is a nice size... should be some good action there.. Cheers, RickO
Just a brief follow up. Lot's of old people. Very few young people. Dealer attendance was good but Dealers outnumbered the Collectors. Aisles easy to navigate. Noticed lot's of high end Walkers in many cases. Usual picked over commemoratives. The early dollars being hawked all seemed to be in problem holders. Did visit briefly with a Dealer who had purchased a complete 144 piece Dansco Commemorative set. Mostly bright coins, 63-65 grade. Tables dealing currency seemed to be busy. Sold some silver to Silvertowne. Noticed an absence of toned coins in cases. Did not purchase a single item. Looked to me to be a poorly attended show, though the parking lot was quite a bit more full when I left. One Dealer indicated that the Friday opening was better attended. Beautiful weather, sunny and 56.
Forgot to add........... overheard Dealer explaining to a Customer how to open the mint set packaging in a way that allowed them to be resealed. He stated " people prefer the mint sets sealed". LOL
Event venue................

Bourse before opening. About 30 of us waiting in the lobby for the opening.

The show had about 200 tables. Show was sold out. hasn't been that way in the past.
Wow!
Sorry I missed it!
Last year, there were quite a few empty tables.
I went on Saturday and had a nice time. Did not buy any coins, but did buy a few notes and a few books. Agree that there were a lot of nice walkers.
I was looking for 36-42 proofs. Did not see anything that knocked my socks off, except for a few proof walkers that one dealer showed me that are part his personal collection.
I did go and eat at a place called "sugars bbq" that had outdoor seating with a great view of the city and really cold beer, so it was a pretty good day.
What do you coinsider tobe old?
The over 50 crowd, of which I am one of.
Dodged a bullet.
Thanks for the reports, folks!
