1975 D Penny Question
Hello,
Would anyone know what this "error" would be called, if its even an error. I don't believe its a scratch.
Thanks!

From your picture it looks like a strike-through.
Maybe a tiny bit of wire or string adhered to the die.

Maybe struck through a piece of string?

Not struck thru string - that would leave a much
different appearance.
I think it's struck thru a thin detached piece
of metal, possibly the shaved rim from another
coin.
Struck through wire or string.
Cool Coin! I like it.

Its kinda fun to think I found this just looking at my change! 1975 to 2017 and I find this error nearly 42 years later. Sure is fun!
