My MS Jeffersons in old rattler holders

Some time back, I picked up a small accumulation of MS Jefferson nickels in the old rattler slabs. I got the idea to put together a subset of Jeffersons in the old Rattlers. I don't know if that is possible, but I pick up any I can find. I probably haven't been as on top of it as I should have been because of long spells of not seeing any, but my accumulation now numbers 31. Some are very nicely toned. Some are probably undergraded, and a few might be full stepped, but for me, they will remain in their original slabs:

Neat collection. It may be difficult to complete the set.
How often were Jefferson nickels submitted at the time that slab was in use?
Tried something like that with Walking liberty, mostly just the short set. It was fun!
Wow. You are as crazy as the people sending Jeff's in at that time. What an awesome set to assemble!
Was PCGS designating full steps at that time?
What a group, for some reason I thought they only graded the early proof Jeffersons then as the series was too 'modern'. I guess I have seen a couple IKES in rattlers...
I've always appreciated this forum for their wealth of information and knowledge. I am curious as to how many MS Jeffersons were holdered in the old Rattlers. If anyone has a pop report from when they transitioned to the 2nd style of holder, it might give me an idea of what might be out there. I realize many have probably been upgraded.

That is a unique collection... I am constantly amazed at the niche segments for collecting that are reported here...Cheers, RickO
Impressive collection, I've seen your bst post looking for them but I can't even recall seeing a Jefferson in a rattler ever!
They certainly must be scarce.

Love it! Any chance of getting a closer view of your MS64 1942-S?

it is surprising how many old rattlers are still out there. a friend of mine spent several years putting together a set of Commems in rattlers, I think the last ones he needed and found were the Arkansas'.
