I normally wouldn't bat an eye at an untoned 43 walker in any holder, but here it is.

Grade looks a bit conservative at least to me!

Looks like a great crackout candidate. ;) <--- note winky face to denote sarcasm

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Can't joke about that, you'll have an angry mob after you. :D

Great looking walker - Gotta send it off to CAC.

It's worth more in its current holder IMO. Keep it as such.

Nice Walker. And it looks like what a decent 65 looked back in those days. A few minute marks down Liberty's leg etc. Now, those go 66-67. This one I'd say 66 which there isn't really any financial incentive. Yeah, maybe JOHN will like to put something special on it. I think it would green bean though. Don't think it's high end enough to gold. My worthless and unsolicited opinion. :)

I think it's beautiful and that doily would look great with a gold bean.

Cac will be itching to gold that one; big incentive to not crack, not that 66 Walkers are worth as much as they used to be. Cac just loves to assign the max stickers to OH coins.

Yup, please leave it where it`s at, just try for a bean and no more.

Agree that it looks under graded but I wonder what that is below and to left of branch hand - a carbon spot, a die flaw or something else?

I hadn't noticed that til you pointed it out, and upon inspecting it closer I saw it sitting right there on the surface of the slab and it came off without incident. Amazing what a beard (??) can trap in it, though I don't recall having any pepper today. Who knows how long it was in there!

And no, for the record I'm not about to crack out a doily walker. I've only owned one other doily and it was a semi ugly 81-s Morgan in 64 I bought off eBay without a slab shot about 10 years ago. I had never heard or seen those holders until then.

That is a very nice WLH.... Certainly it would go 66 today... could go higher...I would just keep it as is, not because of the doily holder, just because I do not chase grades. Very nice indeed... Cheers, RickO

i think its better then a 65 but dont crack it out. like it was said send it in to cac and get a sticker.

I would leave it alone also, but for a different reason. I think with that chatter on the leg it is graded correctly. Not a 66 to my eye.
