Advice on getting wheats graded

@Pawz1980... Welcome aboard.... That is a nice cent. However, it really is worth about 35 cents .... Unless you just want it preserved, it really is not worth investing in grading/slabbing. You could purchase your own slab and protect it that way. I am sure you will receive other comments. Do not be discouraged, buy a Redbook, it will help you in understanding grading and coin values (although most values in the Redbook are a tad high). The coin market fluctuates and as you learn more about condition, rarity and varieties you will understand. Cheers, RickO

This coin is a great start on a Short set 34 to 58 all very obtainable and quite an impressive set. (to some of us)
Great find in the wild and good trapping. The coin as stated is not a good one to slab from the economic standpoint.

Here's my Dansco page that includes this date. All of my Dansco coins were found in the wild and not one was purchased for more than a cent. Of course I started this set 60 years ago. I believe it can still be done today but it would involve buying a lot of bags of wheaties! I found my most recent addition (can't remember the date) about a year ago.
