1887 Morgan help in identifying possible VAM attribution
Hi.. would appreciate a little help in attributing a VAM .....or determining if this even is. The right wing on the eagle has a severe area where the feathers are missing. Couldnt find anything on Vam World and loading pics over there on the boards seems to be an involved process for the technically challenged such as myself.Coin currently resides in a PCGS MS-65 holder.

Looks like perhaps a strike-through scrap error of some kind, like maybe cloth or paper.
In addition, the obverse color and opinion of grade trumps whatever the value is for the common variety that it is.
It definitely isn't any of the high value list varieties.
BTW - is it FS ?

Part of the collection for now...not for sale but thanks for asking. Not so worriied about value just looking to find out if error or some sort of Vam variety.
