Fuerza means force or strength. Maybe the engraver began with another word in it's place?
Leave me hangin' Smitty?
It means 'strength'... not sure what that is struck over... Does the rest of the coin look clear or is there more sub details? Cheers, RickO
If it means "strength" I guess one could say that "strength overpowered whatever was laying underneath"?

Looks to me like the die sinker flubbed up & struck
the word UNION in the wrong place then they struck
over it.

I agree...not sure if it was UNION... but something close like UNIDA...which is Spanish for united... Cheers, RickO
