....at the ATM this morning....

I withdrew $200. It came out in crisp, flat, sequentially numbered bills. As I do, I fanned through them to do a quick chech for "fancy" numbers. Alas, just a hodgepodge, so turning away, a woman about 30 or so was watching, waiting for me to finish with the ATM. Guilty of wasting time, I explained I was looking for odd number combinations in the serial number. She bursts in "Oh Yeah I got 88888888 a few days ago!" So I said "oh my God that bills worth a small fortune!, let me see it!" .....she said "I spent it....I don't even remember where."

I check my bills for those fancy numbers. All 8's would be a sweet find!

Just as a matter of statistics, it is far more likely she remembered incorrectly than she actually had all 8s. Also, I find it hard to believe anyone that looks (and would remember the number) would not keep that bill.
all 8s in 2013 series depending on grade, worth 1,000+
Got 0123456 serial #, $1 from a self check out change machine at grocery store
Graded it ,came back a ..PPQ58
Wow... a bill with all 8's serial number.... I am not a currency collector, but even I would recognize that as a major find....Cheers, RickO
