Super nice DDO and DDR finds.

Many people don't know there are 3 types of mintmarks on the 28-S Lincoln.

The last large S is the triple S rpm 2 as certified by James Wiles.

Another fun niche are the die chips and cracks commonly found in the 50's coinage.
    Little value but fun appeal.

Then there are also those wavy dies.
I believe that there is still no concrete proof on how these occur but they are true die varieties because they occur during the hubbing process.

I normally gather the copper cents from the tills at night, and for some reason took a closer look at the this 1972 and it turned out to be an actual DDO...not the BIG ONE, but a DDO none the less.

All your coins are awesome. Don't you just love the obvious ones that don't really need a loupe? Lovin' that 44 D/S. How 'bout this 2009p? As you can see, I have something on the Reverse? I have about 20 of these. I found them way back in 2009 while searching rolls. Wire? Clash? Die-Crack? Any suggestions? Thanks guy's.-joey

Yes Mannie, all cherried from searches.
But this one was one of those moments. Not only extremely rare but almost impossible to find in an early die state like this
    1955 DDO #2

Hey Joey, Sure looks like a die crack, but a wire strike through is possible.
As for those oddities..... love em

Beautiful! That "Cryin Lincoln" really should get better recognition. What detail, huh? It actually looks as if there is water on the coin, doesn't it? Very Cool, dude.

These are the ones I've found roll searching in the last 6 or so months (minus a few I sold at local shows). I sent the ANACS ones in on some show special for a pity submission with the bored-looking ANACS rep 8-)

I better start looking a lot more closely at Lincolns... :) Some of these would have slipped right by me....such as the '55 DDO2.....fortunately, I have a whole pile of '55's..maybe one is hiding in there...Cheers, RickO

    Super awesome!
That is such a tough one!
Actually rarer than the biggun....but obviously about 100x less demand.......
Only one I've ever found was super mushy LDS........sold eventually but it was nearly a museum piece....lol
