Low mintage date show and tell!

This was an example I purchased back in roughly 2010 from JJ Teaparty which I passed on about 6 months prior at a Baltimore show. It was an amazing coin with significant reflectivity, but I had already spent all my money and I wasn't sure I really wanted to put out that much on one coin (it's still the most expensive coin I own). I happened to check their site and discovered that it was still there 6 months later and the photos were terrible! Finally I had talked myself into pulling the trigger.
I haven't done one of these in quite some time so lets see some of your BUSINESS STRIKE examples with a mintage of less than 25,000 from pre-1900 times!!

I'd expect you might find a whole mess of proof coins and classic commems listed in a thread like this.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Only 500 of these were minted:

Unknown mintage, but there are currently only 4 known of this variety (Small Date with Small Letters Reverse). This variety was discovered in 1998, which was over 150 years after the 1842 halves were minted.

Some nice coins here... really like the gold coins... Cheers, RickO
Not many of these made or survived....I no longer own it, but still retain the photos:
Here's a unique one that I'm sure will make someone's jammies pull in a ball:
My 1847- O PO01 Seated Quarter that I cherry picked from a local shop. Estimated survival is about 250 in any grade- That makes it more scarce than the 1792 Half Disme. This is the only one graded by any company PO01 for the date and mint. Enjoy!

mintage 368,000?
This thread certainly took a left turn...
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
yeah I'm a bit disappointed with the result...there were a lot of potential examples with under 25,000! saw some nice gold but expected to see more!
Unknown mintage, but certainly more than the 1,200 that Walter Breen guesstimated years ago and that the Red Book incorporated as fact for decades. Thankfully, our work has started to remove this erroneous number.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Ok, let me help get it back on track a little more:
Thick planchet, lettered edge - far scarcer than the thin, plain edge variety.
The mint converted over to the thin planchets due to high copper costs.
Estimated mintage of 37,000, Breen estimates 24,000 were coined of this S-75 variety:
22,135
Liberty: Parent of Science & Industry
About 70% of the pre-1900 Liberty $2.50's have mintages under 25,000.
In 1881 the Philadelphia Mint produced 640 business strikes.

I love the number of early bust coins and gold in here!!
21,598 were struck. Doug Winter estimates that 125-150 have survived.
