I think it had been cancelled. We used to do this show when it was in Richfield. But, they have had trouble keeping the show in one location and keeping the dates consistent.

Called the Hotel, they said no show. What a poorly run show. Called the Organizer and their phone mailbox was full and wouldn't acept any new messages. That's the last time I ever consider this show.

Unfortunately, this show went straight to hell over the last 25 years.

when Nelson and Bowen ran the show it was organized and well attended. it was bought by a part time Hobby dealer in the Akron area about 8-10 years ago, moved closer to his home and has gone steadily downhill. this weekend it was going up against a monthly club show in Brookpark on Sunday which has about 35 dealers(it's the show I was banned from). to top that off, show attendance all-around has been dropping for the past 6-12 months as the economy drags on, PM's remain stagnant and coin prices continue to fall.

this show was doomed when the name was chosen. I stay away from anything that uses the words "Extravaganza" or "Gourmet" in the titles. things are typically anything but.

Good point Al.... those hyped titles are much like the clickbait titles.... 'shocking', 'lost secret'.... a new one I just saw...'106 year old Navajo cure for deafness'... :D Just a simple sign with 'Coin Show' or 'Gun Show' will have me focused like a laser... Cheers, RickO
