1864 George B. McClellan "The Union Must Be Preserved" DeWitt-GMcC 1864-21, 28mm Diameter, Copper, Struck by William H. Key.
At first glance the DeWitt 1864-21 & 1864-22 varieties look alike although the 4 spears on the reverse point to different directions. Scarce in white metal, but more commonly seen as such however usually encounters holed for suspension or with heavily oxidation. Very scarce in copper which although there's no rarity scale assigned to political medals you discover along the way collecting the series.
