Last October, Ally Bank hid 100 tokens around the country and any one who found one got $1,000.

That Penny Lying On The Ground Could Be Worth $1,000

There were 2 found right away in Chicago but I don't see any others. I guess the contest ended 12/31/16, but got extended to 1/31/17 so don't look too hard.

These things should be collectible in their own right.

I live in Austin, which is one of the drop sites, and in all honesty I've completely forgotten about this. Thanks for the reminder!

More craziness, not surprised,. Ally Bank needs to get on am / fm radio drive time and promote their item.

    Typical TO post. Who cares.

They are a nice bank. I've been with them for some years. Very good customer service.
