up graded anothr Mercury dime to my set (with a short story)

PTVETTERPTVETTER Posts: 6,028 ✭✭✭✭✭

While at the FUN show I meet a young man selling some coins. Now to be honest I don't see many nice coin walking the floor from vest pocket dealers let alone a YN. This was the exception. He had one of the best looking Mercury dimes I have seen, by a long shot. beautiful blue toned MS67 .

I then saw a nice looking 1944-D MS67+ just had to have it!
The very next day I was showing it off to a dealer and he offered much more than I paid for it.
The fact is I had to make a choice, So I choose to keep it ! Nice coin and from a YN to boot.
Great seeing a YN in the business.

    Nice!
Common to see 45-S supergrades with similar colors, but not so much with the 45-D.
    Fantastic coins! :p
