1977 Eisenhower Dollar S mint Uncirculated

Going to send it to have it graded. Just taking a pole on what grade and what cameo it will get.
I'm thinking 67 to 68 and a dcam.

Too far away to give a good grade guess
Proof, not unc. Tough to say, but enough marks visible from here that it's not a money grade. Why bother? It's a $4 or $5 coin with plastic or without.
Made me click.......
@mirabela S mint was Uncirculated for the year and I know the complete 39 year history of the coin
I think you may need to crack open a Red Book next time, alexrichter. The coin is a proof. Welcome to the boards.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Proof and not a regular business strike.
It may not have circulated. Sometimes we use uncirculated exchangeably with the term business strike coin.

PR67 or 68 DCAM, Unless it is a variety (77S SP DDO, for example*), I would advise not sending it in for grading.

See others' notes above, or check the PCGS price guide, or a Red Book, or any of a dozen other sources -- it's a proof, not a business strike unc. They didn't make 77-S business strikes. I assumed you understood that since you asked what CAM designation it would get. Cameo is a feature of a modern proof strike.
Anyway -- it would have to slab as PR70DCAM to be worth the cost of submission, and it's easy to see from here that it won't. It looks like a nice coin, but it's not perfect -- hairlines in the field to the right of the bust, couple of ticks at eye level, etc. It's nice, but not $1000 nice. Do what you want, but spending to have that graded is throwing money away.
Mirabela is right .... Proof. And, to really be worth it, as a single coin, would need to grade PR70DCAM.
One can find PR69DCAM at very reasonable prices.
Doubtful it would get PR70DCAM, but you are welcome to try.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Nice Proof coin, but not worth submitting, if you consider cost/resale.....if you just want it in a slab for your collection, then do as you wish.... Cheers, RickO

As others have said, this is a Proof. The Red Book is a fine source of information for beginners.
If you have 50 years to wait go ahead and get it graded. Since most are not worth the grading fees, maybe they will be scarce in 50 years. Save for retirement.....good luck
On ebay you can buy 1977-S PCGS PR69DCAMs for under $20, you will not be able to grade yours for that and yours will probably grade lower.
That got a bunch of us to click...... but hey welcome to our group!
