There is no sales tax on coins in Illinois. Other items they sell are subject to whatever the local sales tax rules are, which can be complex in Chicago and the rest of Crook County.

I would assume that if they have an office in Chicago, and you are a resident of Illinois, all of the normal sales tax rules regarding coins and bullion would apply.

Crook County.... very correct .....thanks
Nope. I'm in cook county and I just bought a coin from them in October. No sales tax. They will tax comic books and a few other items but for coins, it's tax free (until the Mayor reads this).
It's a sanctuary city for coins.
Amazing... something Chicago does not tax???
