A nice gift to give for Christmas is simply a little SILVER!

Do you have a numismatic gift-giving idea for Christmas?

A nice to gift to give this Christmas is simply ...

I like silver. It won't stay at 11-12x face forever. A little bit now will seem like a lot, perhaps sooner rather than later! (Wait for it...Waaayyyt...) It might give your relative, friend, co-worker, or local bitcoin hobbyist some context when silver inevitably trades at higher rates. Shoot, imagine how nice they'll feel when a little 90% Washie in their hand, now worth about $3, is worth $10, $20, or even $30!

My lesser duplicates of 90% Washies, like the ones pictured below, will be a good source for little stocking stuffers this Christmas. Free silver? What's not to like!

Wow, I wish I had seen this before I posted my own idea, I could have just responded to yours. A great idea and I hope it gives someone the impetus to join our hobby.

So true. So, give 'em a silver quarter or 90% half dollar! Maybe they'll be more likely to keep it than sell it for $3 or $6, and they'll be glad you thought of them before it multiplied.

We did a secret santa again this year.
I drew the same guys name as last year.

Last year I gave up a nice raw 1922 BU peace dollar and the guy while checking it out Dropped it on the floor....Doh, nice rim ding.

Gold is good, if it is jewelry.... coins/bars for non collectors go in the sock drawer or get pawned/sold. I only give a coin (ASE) for births in the family now. Cheers, RickO

And it's a matter of preference whether she likes 18K or 22K. It surprised me that she didn't want a 22K bracelet or necklace because of the purer gold color. 18K is a better color for some wearers of jewelry.

@tychojoe ...For a bracelet, 18K is better because it is a 'harder' gold and less subject to damage... Cheers, RickO
