I'd say VF30 details and agree with the no-grade. Also, can you please take pictures straight on and crop them before posting?

I'm afraid the rim nick may pose a problem getting it in a straight graded holder. F15-F20 otherwise.

Nice detail; is the shine due to coin care?

Im on a small tablet so it's a little hard for me to judge the pics.
I will say that the rim nick doesn't bother me as much as
the surfaces of the coin. They look strange ( and not in a good way)
    May be the tablet though.

The rim nick on the reverse will likely precluded stabbing with a grade. I picked it up raw about 10 years ago and places it in a Dansco album. It is attractive with nice color. The shine is from the lighting.

Suggestion to the OP - I like strongly peraluminous mica granite as much as the next petrologist, but how about more coin, less granite in your images? I love seeing the garnet, biotite and hornblende, and the quartz and feldspar are nice too, but more coin would also be great!

I would say vf20. If you're getting it slabbed the rim damage might cause it to genny.

    VF30/35, would not straight grade.
Background looks like pizza to me-I must be hungry.

If you look very carefully, above the obverse at about 11:30, and above the reverse at approximately 12:00, there appears to be what at first looks like a tiny speck of bacon or some other fatty food particle. But.....if you zoom in on it, then it looks almost like some sort of a sea creature that is leaping into or out of...a... aaaa.. Good night.

I agree-I thought it was a sparse bacon white cheese pizza while I was waiting for pic to load.
Upon enlarging, I see the sea creature now.
Forget about the 14-D! This is fun!

    The counter top is nice.
I'd grade the coin VF Details Damaged.

Sea creature? Looks like an alien catching a piece of popcorn in its mouth. :o

    @spacehayduke
Perhaps polarized light microscopy or x-ray diffraction analysis, in this case, could be performed to guesstimate the source of the granite. Then we can analyze the coin itself.

The rim hit may influence the grade but it will not keep it from getting a problem-free one.

However, the coin has that improperly cleaned look. That could be due to a coin lubricant like Coincare or Blue Ribbon.

No one likes the granite counter top as a background for coin photos!!!!!!!!

Shocking I tell you, absolutely shocking :)

Guess I will avoid the granite in the future just to please y'all.
