    On a BMW forum I was a part of there was a thread that had the title changed to "delete pls" and all of a sudden it just became an off-topic subject. If I remember right it got to 50,000 comments and had to be deleted since it slowed down the whole site. They started it over and now it has 11k+ comments and is a sticky.

    So fun! Of course deleting the Power Lock Steering was a big issue over there on the BMW forum, right up there with deleting the manual transmission from some models.

    There are tons of issues over there as the cars age, I used to participate actively but once I got rid of mine I didn't check back much. That thread was my favorite memory of bimmerfest. Did you participate in it? There were people from every section of the forum visiting the F01 section just for that thread.

    Thanks. I missed that thread, but I did originate one that had hundreds, if not thousands, of responses extending over a year or years. It had to do with new features one discovered about one's BMW that one did not know about when it was purchased. Most of my recent postings have been on the European Delivery sub forum of Bimmerfest.
