Is there a picture of the same coin that shows a "2" so we can see what that digit would look like?

I say no, but then I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb, Ricko
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
I would also say no.
It's a 3/3
The diagonal line in the lower loop of the 3 does not appear to be a 2 remnant. There's no other evidence of a 2 on your high-quality pics.
I would say 3/3 as well. No way it is over a 2 though.
I would expect to see part of the lower crossbar as the Jeff nickel shows in 43/2.

Based on your picture (a good one), I would say no.... looks like a double punched 3... Cheers, RickO
NO, looks like die fatigue...Great picture.
IMO, if you poke the mark in the lower opening of the "3" with a rose thorn it will move.
OOPS you are right .....
