Speaking of box of 20, is anyone doing a box of 20 with one coin from the last 20 centuries? That might be a real fun one to accomplish....

Neat idea. I have an empty box somewhere that I could fill.
I see a few drawbacks:
In order to be historically significant, the representative coin should have some connection to world events.
For some centuries, like the 4th, a coin of Constantine with Chritian imagery is about as good as it gets.
For the 20th, or even 19th century, it would be very hard to pick a coin that best embodies the century, given how much change has taken place.
The collection would be very European-centric. This is regrettable, but unavoidable.
I could also see it getting expensive if one holds out for the most significant events. For example, a coin of Constantine the Great, looking towards heaven with chi-rho on the reverse, in bronze, is stupidly cheap. Even silver is affordable. A coin of the last Roman emperor (Romulus Augustulus), my pick for 5th c. Is stupidly expensive (I guess could get a cheaper Odoacer instead)
Yes,, not many US coins would be in the box...for sure. But, would not exclude them as there could be 4.
Besides EU coins there are Asians that would fit nicely like the Mogul coins of Ghengis Khan and Chinese warriors.

I think we've had some darksiders do this. Finding a representative piece from certain centuries would be tough but fun.
