What is Thee year? PT.2 An easier task...
I realize that this journey would be complex in finding that certain year of all time. So, to make it quite easier, (hoping anyway) what would you say is the most popular year in each denomination? Such as, the Cent, the nickel, the dime... This should allow us to pinpoint the years better than PT.1 Thanks again.-joey

1893 for me
For which coin (denomination)?
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. For the Nickel, I would have to say, 1913. Both in the "V" and in the "Indian (Buffalo)".

It depends how you want to collect. If you want a nice high grade type set then the most common high grade coin of each type will be your go-to. If you are building a set of the most difficult coin of each type then it would be the opposite. By popular do you mean has the highest graded population?
Collector, occasional seller
Popular; meaning the year most mentioned. not in population.
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Going with strictly most mentioned -- I would say 1909 for the 1c. Then 1913 for the 5c. 1916 for the 10c. Maybe 1932 for the 25c? The 50c is tough, but the most mentioned has to be 1964. Perhaps 1878 for the $1? Not very creative, there are lots of first year of issues for major types in my list.

Perhaps it would help if you could state the objective of this exercise...... that may further define the search. Cheers, RickO
