NYINC 2017 anyone?

It's nearing time to make travel arrangements. My wife says that we can do a Wed (evening, after work) - Sun (morning) thing. But before I book a hotel, I'd like to know if I should save one night and just come in Thu morning.

As my bosses know, there is one chunk of time that I want for Paid Time Off and that is the NYINC weekend. Pity the poor fool who stands in my way.

I will attend either the NYINC or FUN in January. I know they don't conflict this year, but I can only afford one or the other.

You might want to make some flyers to distribute as few know about your services (especially the dealers from overseas).

How do you handle insuring the coins when they are in your possession?

I have a dealer insurance policy that covers shipping, in-person transit and consignments at shows. When imaging at shows it is considered a consignment (though very temporary) so it is insured. I have forms to be filled out when dropping off coins for imaging and they include stating the values and the owner signs to acknowledge my insurance.

    I will definitely have flyers.

Well, after the conversation with the wife, i'll be attending this year's NYINC. It will probably be the last one for a while with the house hunting in full swing and the whole planning to have kids thing, so I'm planning to enjoy every second of it. I'm flying in Thursday morning for the dealer preview and will fly out Saturday afternoon. Staying at The Roosevelt.

Hope to see some friendly faces!

Jury selection for a critical trial I must monitor begins on Wednesday. Maybe a sad puppy-eye face will get me leave to go on Thursday? :( At least the weekend should be a go.

We could always arrange a group dinner on Thursday or Friday night....

Thursday night conflicts with The NY Sale Session 3 and Friday night conflicts with Stacks-Bowers-Ponterio Session 1. Pick your poison.

Personally, I would do Thursday night.
