Do images load really slow for others here?

Is it just my connection? When I go to a thread with lots of images, I have time to go make a drink and come back. I don't have this problem on other sites. Is there a setting I have wrong here?

Seem to load up as fast as they used to. Not instantaneous, but within a few seconds. Just clicked on "Toned Ike Thread " to verify.
Yes, I have noticed that same problem. I just figured that it was due to my ISP and their notoriously slow download speeds.
Yes, use to load much faster for me also.
If it's a big file size say above 5mb it can be up to 10-15seconds for me if I'm on 4G but if I'm on desktop or Wi-Fi it's only 5seconds +/-
I have WiFi... and they load real fast. That being said, occasionally, I run into one post in a thread that will load like the old one's did... a few lines at a time... while all the rest dump right in. I have no idea why this happens...and when it does, it is only that one post. Will keep track and see if it is the same individual.... might have something to do with it. Cheers, RickO
Problem is a lot of folks are uploading huge images unnecessarily. E.g., (and not to pick on any member), the thread on raw key coins opens with two small cent images that are 7.6mb in size. If cropped the coin images would be under 200kb each with no difference in picture size or quality.
The photos are 38x larger than needed.
All these really big images make page loading slow when the thread is full of pix.

Images seem to load slower than before the change over for sure.
Same here, but I may be one of those guys with the larger (than necessary) images.
