Nah, just a tube of $2 1/2's... 
I had a little fun tonight with some of my Indians and tubed them up. It was heavier than I was expecting. Interesting fact.. they are all the same date!

I already took them back out and put them back in their holders, and they are out of order, so I have no way of knowing which to go double check. Shoot. I am usually pretty good at spotting the fakes, but may have missed one. Hopefully not though!
It may be disappointing to the ladies, but at least it impresses us coin collectors.
No wonder that it's so heavy, there are over fifty coins in that tube! I guess if you have 'em, flaunt 'em.
No good can come from a snarky comment about them being only the size of dimes, so I'll refrain.

He might be joking, but who knows. There are enough fakes out there that I would not be surprised if one of them was a really good fake. I SHOULD have added a Liberty in the mix, to see if people could spot it. For some reason those look thicker to me.

Found 3 so far. 2 graded xf45 at PCGS, and one was AU55 I believe at NGC. All bought as 1911
I am scared to sell any plain 1911 in fear it is really a D! haha. So I've kinda just saved most 1911's I've bought, and set them aside.

wrap some dimes in paper, and put 2 indians on each outer edge, and sell on eBay as OBW of $2.5, just like they came from the mint when released...

Very cool. I once had half of an original roll of 1924 $20.
We used to keep common circ $2-1/2's in a dime tube. They don't rattle like they would in a quarter tube.

These pics bring back lots of memories. At a CSNA in the mid 80's Leon Hendrickson
had 10+ plus tubes of varying denoms of gold that were counterfeit. Not for sale
as he was going to melt them. I always thought that was a neat thing to do.
I love small gold in rolls. The heft of gold really is something to behold.
Grading out lots of $20 Libs you should only pick up a few at a time. Otherwise your hand gets tired from how heavy they are.
And I thought my hoard of Indians was impressive.... haha!
Nah this is the type of stuff I'll grade out for work. I need to start taking more images of them laid out.
I can see it now 300 $20 gold pieces laid out over lapping each other.....it's the type of image that begs to be a computer background.
Very nice pictures of large groups of coins! I don't have anywhere near that number of any one kind of gold coin, but someday will take out all of my raw 1805-1828 quarters from their flips and carefully stack them together, about 2 rolls.
