We've always had guests. A couple of things, first you've got to be on this website to create a profile. Second, there have always been plenty of lurkers.
Some folks will come onto the forum and not log in.
For instance, there are times where I may be bored and waiting for something, and just whip out the ol' smartphone and come onto the forum. Due to the size of the screen and the fonts, I don't usually bother to log in. I expand the screen to read, but just use it to read and catch up.
It would count me as a "guest" when I am doing that.
Also, as Skyman mentioned, there are lurkers all the time. Nothing wrong with that...."try before you join in" type of thing.....or, there are always the banned folks that just can't stay away.
I read this as + X guests means they can't show all the guests avatars at once. It's referring to all of us as guests, which is what we are. At least it's how I see my own participation title.
I don't know though, that's just how I thought of it when I first saw it there....

The "guests" are visitors that are or lurking or looking at this site. As such they don't have avatars nor can they post.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Sorry but I just had to. It was dangling in front of me.
Why? That doesn't make any sort of sense in this situation...

What? Without proper hazing? :-)
I usually include an email "for guests to contact" when posting on the BST. Rarely has it ever resulted in contact much less a done deal.
