Back when eBay was fun, I bought some junk silver from a guy in New York City. He told me his parents picked out silver from change from their coin-op laundromat starting around WWII IIRC. The very old rolls he sent me contained mostly Washies and Barbers but there were a few SLQs and this single seated Civil War Quarter. Contemplating the travels of this coin was a part of what ignited my interest in classic coins.

Picked up some pretty dimes a couple of weeks ago and borrowed a D800 from a pal. Been playing around with it and considering upgrading from my old Nikon. The old eyes sure are struggling with this close up work though! Got to get my copy stand alignment just right!
