Is there any way to find out who "liked" your post?

SkyManSkyMan Posts: 9,509 ✭✭✭✭✭

Just wondering, is there any way to find out who clicked that they liked your post, or can you only just see the number of people who liked a given post?

Thank you for your answer!

I liked the post you made the other day with the first pic from space.

    :+1:

But it doesn't look like there's any way to tell who clicked the like button.

And it looks like @ricko must have multiple disagree trolls with how many he gets... or one with a dozen or so alt accounts!

I could care less. I am not the disagree troll. As I stated before, there are folks here with multiple id's and this is their way to "influence" folks. They did it in the old forums with the "user rating" and they do it now with Like and Disagree

well this will get interesting real fast

Yeah, it does. I took a look at some old posts (from March) that were "disagreed" with. Pictures of coins. Not asking grades or anything, just showing a new product...and some other posts.

Seems "Eurekagold" has gone out of his way to go back to months old posts and "disagree" with them. Interesting since the forum software to allow the disagree function is so new and the threads haven't been brought back to the top....they petered out months ago as well.

The odd out "disagree" is no big deal, but seeing who the serial disagreers are now is quite enlightening. I see a pattern of a few people already....some I have never really talked to on the forum.

@Bochiman... it seems the 'disagree troll', first addicted to my posts, now has a full blown habit and finds himself compelled to disagree with everyone. Oh well, guess we will have to let it run out of steam by itself... Cheers, RickO

Rick, as I mentioned above, and as Eagleguy mentions above before me, hovering can now show who clicked on disagree/agree/like/LOL....so, you can see the ones who do it 1-off and maybe really disagree with something, or the ones who click it on every post for certain people. Heck, when someone goes out of their way to go back months before the software was installed, just to disagree with a button, they either have serious mental issues or are an alt with a problem....or both.

So, hover and see who is disagreeing, and you will get an idea. Note: some of them are disagreeing with me and others on a big basis.

Would be fun to, in addition to seeing the numbers for how many agree/disagree one gets, to see numbers for how many agree/disagree one GIVES

You may also undo a disagree/agree by hoovering over it and clicking if that helps with the peace... I like peace. A flag is a flag and appears to be private...

Wow! Pretty cool change in the software. My received "Disagree" clicks fell by 50% from the last time I checked and I imagine it must be due to this change in software capability. One person, however, seems to have given the most "Disagree" clicks to me, but it is all good in the end.

    Cool change!

One more thing, when you look at your own thread it does make the "views" count go up by one.....every time you look at it.

I hit disagree several times on Ricko's thread as it seemed many others were. I can only assume it was done in good humor, at least on my part it was :)

It should. It does on ebay views you know. Just give it a try!
