Don't think "ignore" works

  Maybe if you have more than five people you want to ignore, then it might be more reflective on your ability handle a minor annoyance

  As far as the spammer, he will get tired of posting when no one clicks on the spam messages.
  Maybe the mods will boot the userid, if the spam flag count gets high enough.

  Good one. I only want to ignore spammers. But there are other folks who have low tolerance. If you can have seemingly unlimited amount of PM's, why only 5 ignore's?

  I tried the ignore list. The actual poster's header still shows up though the post itself is not visible. The irony here is that half the time a later poster will quote the "ignored" post, and it still shows up for you to read. And even with the ignore you can click the "hidden" post time stamp and it will reappear.

  I think the spam flag is on the lower left of each message.

  Also I think the spammer in question got the boot, or at least the messages did.
