~ Copper 4 The Weekend™ ~

1840 Bergen Iron Works, Lakewood, New Jersey, HT-206 / Low-143, Copper, 21mm Diameter, Rarity-4.
All are seen weakly struck on the high points due to inept dies which had high relief designs at the exact points on both obverse & reverse too great for a thin planchet. Typically seen die crack on the obverse and most even in UNC are less eye appealing then stuff found stuck to your shoe in a dog park. This example ended about a 7 year search.

Always looking for tougher PSA 10's of Nolan Arenado, Alex Bregman, Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Trout.
Normally I buy Doilies for the plastic, but this one turned out to have a nice coin as well.

I didn't really plan on having my two latest newps be only one year apart, but that just kinda happened.
They're also both copper, so... yay. I get to participate in C4TW again!
This one just got a bump from NGC PR64 BN to PCGS PR65 BN, which makes it pop. 1 in ALL grades at PCGS, and, I believe, the highest graded at either service. So I'm tickled.
Speaking of tickled, and tickled pink, well, this one just came from Atlas Numismatics. Also pop. 1 in all grades, though for a rather esoteric 1848 French pattern, that's not terribly surprising. It is SP65 RB.
I really like that piece, and not just because it has a nekkid lady on it.
(Well, OK, the nekkid lady was a big plus.)
Nothing new one of my older purchases.

2 great coppers, Lord M.!
I hope to obtain a Beck's Baths token someday. I often drive by the location of the baths on the way to work. I think there's a courtyard hotel on top of it now.
Nice token Lord M.

This piece represents life, in the form of the bouquet, and death, as the grave marker (obelisk). . A beautifully designed and executed penny token.
