Very Nice! Me too, never was able to take photos. Not anymore. Though, I do need to improve the blurriness.
From my Dad, He engraved other Morgans for all us kids! This was mine that he left me, to remember him forever!
The red, white and blue shield style Capital Holder is a very attractive display for coins (particularly if you like the colors of Old Glory). I have seen this holder a few times and lucked out in picking this one up. I like the fact that the 65-67 SMS sets fit in the holder. The coins look even better in hand.
At one time I had the holder filed with a 1936 proof set, a 1950 proof set and a 1964 proof set. A mixture of different eras of proof set production including a Walker, Franklin and Kennedy half dollar, buffalo and jefferson nickel, mercury and roosevelt dime, plus the Lincoln cent and Washington quarter.
Well SanctionII - I have waited many years to finally see all the coins you have amassed. It was worth the wait although I will say I am a bit overwhelmed by all the photos and need to spend more time looking them over.
My first impression is that they are all very nice sets - the silver coins all look to be cam or dcam - harder to tell on the nickels and cents, but for sure they are all premium pieces.
I am not sure I have a favorite yet, but the 1967 quarter is impressive. Looks like a very early strike from a new set of dies and looks dcam to me. Very very tough to find.
And the one I was really waiting for is the 1961 Doubled Die reverse Franklin. I seem to remember your description was that it had some cameo contrast. I've seen many of these, but none with cameo contrast. I know they exist.
Well done!

I like the two cents details; the color bothers me.

Love the 1865 2 cent piece.

Hey, I have this holder, too! Though I don't have those coins in it.
