Anyone know?

A 1 ozt gold Peace dollar would be really cool and I would definitely get one. I always thought the Peace dollar design was more artistic than the Morgan dollar design although I'm sure most collectors would disagree with me.

I'm sure it'll be on someone's radar to propose. To be the right size, it should be about 1 1/2 oz. (using the 3/4 oz. Kennedy as a frame of reference). Heck, why not make a Morgan dollar commem then, too? It's all about more product and more labels, right?

This collector certainly agrees that the Peace Dollar is the superior design, especially the high relief 1921.

I plan to do 2021 Morgan and Peace rounds in a 50mm 2-troy-oz 999 format, similar to (but larger than) these 39mm 1-troy-oz rounds:

Why not also strike them normal sized on older Morgan and Peace dollars similar to the 1964 Peace dollars? They would be extremely popular with collectors of your creations.

I hope not regarding a gold us mint issue as they will most likely treat it as the 1916 issues and if they don't an oz and a half of gold is a real wallet cruncher for most unless gold crashes. I can hear the griping now.

Dan's the man when it comes to these so I AM very much looking forward to whatever he produces image

Dan, with a Morgan I'm assuming the blank edges will be quite thin or the design will fill the entire planchet correct
    The more you VAM..

The Morgan/Peace rounds would be 50mm outer diameter. That would leave a 5.5mm wide perimeter. About 3.5mm of that border would be blank.
