Very nice coins! A great set to go for. If you see a circulation strike 1880 shield nickel in any condition-buy it. These are super tough to find. Good luck on this one-finding the right coin may take you quite a while here.

No, 58's are just all that are put up so far. I was wanting to do a Everyman Complete Nickels 1866-1938 (Shield thru Buffalo), but BJ would not create the set for me.
Good luck as I know you will have a blast putting this together

Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
A zillion years ago I started a complete set of nickels 1866 to present. I never got to move beyond shield nickels, having gotten captivated by the varieties.
I did do a Jeff nickel set because it was easy and I wanted something easy. Shield nickel varieties get tough when you're after specific varieties.

Shield Nickels are rich with varieties for sure! Too many for even me to chase!

Just to correct you, it's Justin. I get called Jason a lot though, lol.
Sorry Justin I will try to do better on that from now on.
No hard feelings.. As I said, rarely a day goes by that I don't get called Jason. Sometimes I just answer to it. I still have some co-workers that call me Jason without thinking. It's alway's happened and always will.
Love the nickels. After getting more into Buffs recently I just can't stop admiring these all day. Just found a 1936 S/S from my grandfather's Buffalo nickel hoard.
Good luck!

Can't do both in complete variety. Just too much for my pocketbook. But I am using varieties where I can in the Nickel set.
However, I do like Five & Dimeman!
You are off to a good start with some nice examples thus far.
Have fun and good luck.

So how many hours a day will you devote to finding nickels ?
There are only so many hours in the day, Dimes will have to share time with Nickels.
