Long Beach NewP-Now with VIDEO!

Danye WestDanye West Posts: 193 ✭✭✭
My newest pickup from Long Beach. So glad I found this one.

The line on Franklin's neck is on the slab and the brown marks on the bell are part of the patina.

Obverse looks like the pictures, the reverse GLOWS. The pictures don't do it justice.

PS - I did NOT cheat and look at the slab number.

Noted small graze line or frost beak on Frankie's neck and very light mark line around his ear. Killer reverse.

In the future you may want to cover the barcode numbers that show the grade and coin number to figure out the variety and / or designation.

To me it looks like a 86673.66. The 86673 tells me that it's a 1957-D with Full Bell Lines. The .66, well, take a guess....

I'm sure the coin has nice color, but the photo looks VERY juiced to me.

It's amazing! I don't think the photos misrepresent the coin at all. See for yourselves!

Very nice. You know the reverse is nice when it is on the front label side of the slab.

If my coin: 64FBL. IMO fair grade, not better than 65FBL - there is just too much action on the hair and bust - I assume that the line at Benny's neck is on the holder.
