More dealers are upgrading their online stores

Looks like many dealers are upgrading their websites. Many have been either clunky and slow or look like they came from the mid-90s.

It's also nice to find many dealers I never knew about on Collectors.com and linking to their Ebay store or website. Not everyone is on CCE or can pay for it, like poor folks like me....

Anyway, thought I would add some highlights (save your negative comments, just pointing a few out I personal liked image )

Feel free to add more. But I like these for ease of navigation and the overall look. Nice job! Seems online is where it's at for retail these days. Most folk, including me, are saving there ducats and avoiding the travel hassle to attend shows. More money for coins then image

    As I understand it most Dealers want people to go to their online store rather than view their coins through E-Bay. If they save 6% - 10% that gives them more room to negotiate. More Dealers should have online stores and publish the heck out of them for these reasons.

    Yes, I agree. Both the seller and the buyer win when the purchase is made on their website and not Ebay.

    I'm not surprised. Monumental was New World rarities, I think. Probably Legend and DW are the top volume companies there, no reason not to be as cutting edge as the best when you are doing top flight business.



    Most of the dealers I know only have ebay as a web business outlet; and some I know could use better research people when pricing material. The top companies don't make those mistakes.

    The online presence of a dealer will become a more competitive aspect of the numismatic business. Heritage does it at scale, but web development is ever cheaper and I expect continued innovation from the smaller operators. Quite a few dealers have nice and pretty inventory listings, and occasionally insightful commentary, but much more can be done.....
