Another first for me

I finally got around to registering my set. I thought it was going to be a chore and I've been putting it off. It was actually fun. It was especially cool creating the digital album. I didn't collect coins as a kid so I got the electronic experience of a Whitman Album by "putting" the coins in their proper slots.I get the thrill now!
Anyways, much to my surprise my set moved into the #3 spot. I never really thought about the Registry. Even though I'm a extremely competitive person I can assure sure that I have zero intentions of chasing coins for registry points. I collect in my style style and I only challenge myself to add coins I love. So I'll let the chips fall were they may.
I need to get the 36 and 38 True Viewed. All are CAC except for the 39 & 42 which have not been sent in so far.
Thanks for looking. Digital album in the link with a short write up of the sets intention.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Seriously, Mark, I am really glad that you finally registered your wonderful set.
I am not surprised that you are #3.
Great job and I'm happy for you!!
I am like you, in that, I don't plan to be #1 but just collect what I like and I still manage to do fairly well.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Congratulations.
Looking at the reverses in your digital album was fun. My favorite portrayal of an eagle on American coins (although the eagle on the Connecticut is certainly up there).
Those coins are awesome. I no longer feel bad about not getting CAM on Walker Proofs. They just don't hand those out, and you have a couple that should be.
I am also going to go out on a limb and say if you could buy a single coin that would shoot you into the top spot, you might do it! Impressive that you just leisurely enter your coins into a tough registry categoty and end up in the Bronze position. Cool!
This is a great achievement.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
I too like the mix of toners, cameos, and blast white coins.

(1) I agree that some of Mark's set have a CAM look.
(2) I point out that Mark will not be able to overtake Gerald Forsythe's HOF proof set. For those who collect WLHs and compete in the registry, the Gerald Forsythe sets represent a true pinnacle. For proofs - the set has the only 36 in 68 and the only 42 in 69. Put another way - the set GPA is equal to the maximum GPA possible. As an aside, the Forsythe WLH basic set is also in the HOF.
(3) Because Forsythe's set is HOF, it is 'retired' from the yearly competition. So, Mark's set is in the silver position for all intents and purposes.
I also completely enjoy the digital albums.
Congrats on all of your recent activities.
Been enjoying following along.

Forsythe's retired set is a beast

MJ, it was worth the wait. The 1936, 1941 and 1942 must look fantastic in hand!
You have seen the 41 : )

What if he buys those coins?
Love all the coins but the '37 speaks to me loudest (even though that '36 is a beast!)

Awesome set!
Beautiful coins....but I have a suggestion to make. Looks like you actually have two sets in the making there: a gorgeous black and white near cameo set and a gorgeous lightly toned high grade set. I think they'll both be true knockouts when completed.
Shhhhhh!!! Trust me I think about it everyday. I'll let the coins come to me
I'm amongst done with deeply toned MS Walker set. That has eaten up a lot of open to buy.

I would like it better if it were sent in for photography to Mark Goodman or someone of equal skill all at one time under exact same lighting and format.
I'm a little OCD like that though.
Those are killer coins either way. Simply stunning.
