into believing the Federal Reserve is a government agency:

"Federal Reserve Banks are set up like private corporations. Member banks hold stock in the Federal Reserve Banks and earn dividends."
About those "dividends" earned by private banks that hold Federal Reserve Bank stocks.

Kind of like how a lot of people think the postal service is a governmental agency. (sigh)
Not exactly a government agency. Just a company who's retirement accounts are legally pilfered by governmental bureaucracy. (anyhow that's how I see it. Same with Social Security).
Pork barrel spending never changes. But we are steering off course, in banking and finance , on that subject.
