There are a number of Collectors in the Showcase box of twenty section that could use one of those.

I could never be pleased with a collection of only 20 coins. I'd get bored. Some coins interest me for a while then I go to something else. A year or so later I'll be back to the first group of coins. Sometimes it has to do if I'm reading a book, writing an article or working on an exhibit. My collection is probably something well over 1,000 pieces if you include all of the coins, medals and tokens.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

"Box of 20" is a concept invented by collectors' spouses to make sure they don't go crazy buying coins. Personally, I greatly prefer the "20 boxes" approach.

Kinda makes your browsing into cherry picking though, doesn't it?

Box of 20 is tough enough financially when your avg price per coin is approaching 20k.(and I am not weathly, by any stretch) I just figured mine at cost and its 19.2 k avg

That is certainly one very good way to do it.

In your case a box of 20 makes good sense and is a very substantial collection.

My first love are the early Walkers in which there are 26 (just over 20).

The intermediates are 19 (which is also close).

And the short set is 20 exactly.

So....I'd be happy with three box's of 20 plus 5 coins. image

That has got to be one of the most eclectic sets that I've ever seen.

Each coin is of superior quality.

Congratulations on a great nest egg.

The cool thing about a box of twenty is that once it's full, it's pretty easy to start filling the next one. image

This is a box I made for my Lincoln collection years ago. I believe their are 96 slots. Lot of work cutting up those blue boxes. image

Nice to have the entire collection in one box.

Thanks, too, Walkerfan. I'm not quite done yet. Always room for improvement image

I had a nice wood box for mine, but its domed lid was too high to fit inside my SDB.

So I switched to one of these aluminum jobbies, which also has clasps (the wooden one lacked those).

And I went for a 25-slot box. Not because I'm expanding to a "Box of 25", but those five extra slots come in handy when I'm transitioning stuff, and I have a spot for my loupe and stuff. And it all fits inside the SDB.

BSN- that box is indeed very cool.
