I know thousands are slab bed MS but what about well circulated pieces? Inverse population?

I don't know that I've ever seen one at my table- only MS pieces, though some of those have been messed with. I do see a lot of Lewis & Clark gold $1 coins that are ex-jewelry, which I always found interesting.

They probably don't exist. Even if they got spent, they would have stopped circulating within a few years.

I don't think I've seen any $2 1/2 INDIANS from the 1920's in anything less than XF/AU, except maybe some coins that saw use as jewelry.

There are plenty of 1920's indians lower than xf.. just take a look on ebay. I have never seen lower than AU for the 1926 Sesq though

I have never seen a really circulated Sesqui quarter eagle. I would imagine that most are 55 to 63 (mine is a 58). I did own a VF or so McKinley dollar that was not ex-jewelry or anything, just honest wear. Where it acquired that wear is a mystery to me.

I have a F15 & and a VF30. The F15 is in my commem gold registry set. There is a FR02 out there that I would love to have. I also have a holed one.

That F15 has seen some action... either commerce or as a pocket piece.... nice coin though. Cheers, RickO

Why would anyone want one in that grade? (Needless to say, I am not a fan of the trend to collect low grade specimens.)

I collect lowball commems and holed commems to aggravate my wife image If that doesn't do it I also collect holed Bust halve dollars. Actually I collect them because I enjoy collecting them and that is what collecting is all about.

Even in Fine the design is quite attractive in my opinion.
