What are dimensions of the current standard PCGS slab??

That is, the exact outside dimensions (Height, width and thickness) of the current standard PCGS slab?

    Apparently you don't own one?
    I love the 3 P's: PB&J, PBR and PCGS.

    2 7/16 W

    3 3/16 H

5/16 Thick without including stacking tabs

Can get more accurate than that, but would involve me going to the workshop and getting a dial caliper and I am not so inclined this evening.

Is it me or something else, but I really and truly do not like the new holders:

They feel cheaper in hand, and are too thick IMO.

In a pcgs box of coins I have , there are about 2 new holder ones in there and they stick out like a sore thumb.

I don't like the new PCGS holders because they will not fit in an NGC box (and of course NGC slabs have never fit in a PCGS box)

A little bit bigger than about half the slots of the blue boxes I have.

BTW I like the slab for the better optical quality of the plastic and security features thou having to shave the edges gets boring. But that diamond knife hone makes it easier.

The newest holders are far and away the best PCGS has ever produced. They are clearer (better optics), truer in color (nearly neutral and not so blue), scratch resistant (and what scuffs they may encounter are easier to polish-out), and more secure.

Okay, so NGC boxes don't work so well. Why should they? Use PCGS boxes and complain to NGC that their slabs are too tall.

This. Also, when stacked, the lenses of the holders do not come in contact with each other, unlike previous versions.

I was thinking of a Vernier caliper myself for dimension measurement.
