I went on Coneca site and there's no images for DDR-001 .

I also went on Wexler site and did find a DDR, but it's not the same .

In Wexler, only " United " is doubled . Here's the 2 images from Wexler site .

The one on Coneca Site states:

Strong spread on QUARTER DOLLAR, with light spread on UNITED and AMERICA .

Looks like machine doubling to me. On the 'U' in 'UNITED', the 'doubling' goes around the inside upper right corner. This should be notched, IMO.

Keep in mind, it's not the same DDR as wexler and I'll take a closeup of the " U " in UNITED .

Flat shelf doubling is what it looks like.

I also think machine doubling. It was extremely common on proofs of that time period.

Sorry-machine doubling. The real deal-PR 1-R-V-has very evident doubling on "QUARTER DOLLAR." I used to have one.
