  Not struck up full on the front two and die striations/grooves between the back legs is what I see. Not sure what that means for the date though without homework. Neat coin. Congrats!

  Looks like a severe case of die erosion to me...

  Is that a die chip or gouge on the inside of the right front leg, and also on the mound under buffs chin?

  It is pretty typical for the date; worn tired dies and soft srtikes. It isn't in common condition though.
